Cap St Jacques has really been the home base for the club so far this season! This has been one of those years where the regional distribution and amounts of snow fall have favoured the nearby flat trails of CSJ. It was open for skiing in December before most other ski centers north of the city. We have never been there as often and in such great numbers as this year. Last Sat was another example of this when 23 of us showed up for a splendid morning of skiing at 10 am. It was partly sunny and -10 C. We took a great group shot just before we set out that managed to include 20 of the 23 skiers. Most of the group went for a loop around the red rabbit trail. Some took shorter trails while others went back out for another shorter loop. The conditions were very good. There were very few reminders of the ice storm from a week earlier.
We are fortunate to have a place Cap St Jacques so close by to most of us.
