It’s back after a one-year hiatus — the Beaver Tails’ feast in the forest! And it’s coming up in less than two weeks, on Sun Feb 10. It’s our (indoor) picnic on the trails of Lac Monroe (Parc du Mont-Tremblant – Secteur de la Diable).
Here’s how it works — you tell us that you are coming and we provide all the food and drink. You spend the morning skiing and working up an appetite, and then you show up for lunch. Not only will there be a variety of sandwiches and desserts, but also cheese fondue and Glögg wine, all served up trail-side in one of the warming huts located a few km from the main chalet. The cost? — $0 for all Beaver Tailers. Membership has its privileges! All you have to do is ski to the hut.
Well, there is one catch. If (and only if) you are able to ski while carrying supplies on your back, then we need your help to transport the food to the hut. Meet in the parking lot for 12:30 pm. Remember to bring along an empty backpack from home.
We will once again be benefiting from the extensive organizational and culinary expertise of Gwen Wulfraat. She will see to it that you are well-fed. BUT you have to tell her that you are coming so that she will know how much food to prepare.
Don’t miss out! Reserve your spot by contacting Gwen, Please let her know by next Tue, Feb 5.
